TU Dance in Performance at the Ritz Theater:
February 22-25, 2007
Toni Pierce-Sands and Uri Sands are joined by their company of 10 dancers for a performance staged to live music at the intimate and dramatic new Ritz Theater. The program features new work from choreographer Uri Sands as well as favorites from the Company’s repertory, accompanied by musical talent from the Twin Cities.
Since the Company’s sold-out opening concert in 2005, TU Dance, with its signature fusion of modern and traditional dance forms, has won significant critical acclaim including “Artists of the Year” by the Star Tribune and “Best Performance” by the inaugural Sage Awards. Uri Sands received the prestigious Princess Grace Award in choreography and was named City Pages’ “Best Choreographer” for 2006.

Join friends of TU Dance for a pre-show benefit event at the Modern Cafe
and support the work of this extraordinary new dance company. Dinner
is followed by the company's opening night performance next door at the
Ritz Theater.
Tickets: $100 benefit dinner only; or $128 benefit dinner with ticket
for 8 p.m. dance performance
