Ballet of the Dolls presents

Doors Opening: A Symphony of Dolls, the first show in the Dolls’ new home the newly renovated Ritz Theater   May 12-27.

Two decades and two thousand dances inspire a new original ballet in The Dolls’ new home at the Ritz Theater. This brand new work showcases the remarkable abilities of original company members and flair of the newest additions to the roster of artists. Never a group to rest on their laurels, the Dolls are prepared to hit the ground running, leaping, spinning to command every inch of the stage. Set to the music of Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Schubert, Blige, Bowie, and many others, the evening will merge the styles and interests of the company that have made them unique for two decades. Artistic Director, Myron Johnson will once again blend his unique aesthetic of ballet, jazz, mime, and theater for an evening you won’t soon forget. This is a must see event.

Opening night, May 12, will feature a gala fundraiser for the Ritz Theater Capital Campaign. This spectacular evening will begin with a tour of the historic Ritz Theater followed by fabulous cuisine provided by local restaurants such as Ert?, The Sample Room, Barbette, and 331 Club. Guests will be treated to the premiere performance of Doors Opening: A Symphony of Dolls. The evening will also include a live auction full of incredible items and entertainment packages.
