Please join the Ritz Theater for their first annual choreographer's evening "Renovate":  a showcase featuring 13 dynamic choreographers. 

The program premieres a collection of innovative, witty, and thought provoking choreography from fresh emerging artists to some of twin cities finest established choreographers. 

Co-curators Lisa Conlin and Julie Warder invite you to experience an intriguing evening of choreography by Lindsay Hunter(Epitome-No Question), John Munger, Marciano Silva dos Santos, Tamin Totzke and Dustin Haug, Sarah Jacobs, Alanna Morris, Jolene Konkel, Julie Warder, Lucy Rahn, Otto Ramstad, Denise Armstead, Lisa Conlin, and Olive Bieringa.

Ticket price is $15.00  

Special Restoration Rate of $12 for groups of 6 or more people.  

Lisa Conlin is the creator of "Stripped" Fringe Festival 2005-Southern Theater and "The Secret Annex" - Ritz Theater in 2007 Lisa is proud to be a co-curator "Renovate". Other past works have been shown at the Loring Playhouse, The Walker, Old Arizona Studio, and the Studio 2A project. Lisa began her training at Hubbard Street Jazz dance, Gus Giordano Dance Center, and Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Lisa began her theater training with Myron Johnson's Ballet of the Dolls & has been a company member for 13 years.

Julie Warder:

Jim Bovino is the Co-director of Flaneur Productions and Managing Director of Ballet of the Dolls/Ritz Theater.

Debra Jinza Thayer: After spending the first six years in Japan and Southeast Asia, Deborah Jinza Thayer grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from Johns
Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland in 1984 and an MFA
in Dance from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia in 1997.
She has presented her choreography, Movement Architecture -- and has created over 50 original works in New York City, Washington DC metro region and Minneapolis. She has twice been a semi-finalist for France's Rencontres choregraphiques internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis (Bagnolet), and received McKnight Choreographers Fellowship in 2004.
